Since 2016, I have using DAWs to record and produce my own original music. I am a self taught musician and producer. I have been creating projects that reflect the different aspects of my life and musical interest. Below I have embedded some soundcloud audio players to share my entire timeline of music. sweet baby is my latest EP that I released in July of 2019. It is some soft indie pop where I mainly reflect on the intersections of love and pain and what it means to have both healthy and intense relationships. I recorded this EP using ableton live lite and wrote all of the songs myself recording live guitar.
Below are my most recent releases which all fit in under my new project of creating beat driven electronic music. "sorry I am lost" and "Tricycle" seek to mix emo and edm together to create hardcore, emotional music which deal with themes of community pain and jealousy.
Among the sweeter music I seek to create, erased scripts is an EP of relaxing music driven by ukulele and the Venezuelan Cuatro. These are intentionally low quality songs made on my iphone using garage band and $15 earbuds with a mic.
Below are songs where I experimented with using outside audio to drive the story each song. These songs mostly served as a learning experiences and a place for me to experiment with Ableton Live and interesting time signatures.
Dark hop is a genre I became very interested in during 2018. In these songs I engage with the darker parts of myself and the confusion that comes with having mental illnesses.
While studying music theory and learning how to play keyboard instruments I wrote four piano pieces. These pieces reflect my intense emotional growth as a teenager as I dealt with loss and moving away from home.
Being my first official EP that I shared with my highschool community, Sandwich in Eb demonstrates some of my earliest skills I developed while learning how to use Ableton.
These are the first songs I created using a DAW. I like to share these to demonstrate my growth with music production.
